World number one Belgian-Dutch racing driver Max Verstappen, 24, was pictured arriving at the paddock with girlfriend Kelly Piquet, 33 ahead of the third practice session of the Bahrain Formula One Grand Prix. 

The atmosphere when a trans swimmer controversially triumphed at the United States college championships last week was uncomfortable at best and I am amazed the sporting authorities did not act sooner to prevent it. 

The 33-year-old Brazillian model and columnist is the daughter of three-time F1 world champion Nelson Piquet and ex-girlfriend of former-F1 driver Daniil Kvyat, who she shares a two-year-old daughter with, Penelope Kvyat.
